Led Zeppelin

This page contains custom album artwork that I created for some concert bootleg recordings of Led Zeppelin.  Obviously, as concert bootleg recordings are not commercially available, there is no official album artwork.  This custom album artwork was created solely for my own personal use, and you are free to use it for your own personal use.  All of the images were created in Adobe Photoshop Elements using layers, and are 1500 x 1500 resolution.  Clicking on any image will open a gallery viewer, which includes the ability to browse through the images, as well as a download button for each image.  Simply hovering over any image will display a download button in the lower right of the image.  If you use any of the artwork in your music library, I would be interested in knowing, as well as hearing any comments and feedback on the design.

Led Zeppelin Tour (1968-1969)

The following is custom album artwork that I created for some concert bootleg recordings of Led Zeppelin.  This artwork is for the era and tour pertaining to the Led Zeppelin album, which was released on January 12, 1969.  The simplistic design uses the actual photograph of the Hindenburg disaster which served as the basis for the artistic version used on the artwork for the studio album.

Led Zeppelin II Tour (1971)

The following is custom album artwork that I created for some concert bootleg recordings of Led Zeppelin.  This artwork is for the era and tour pertaining to the Led Zeppelin II studio album, which was released on October 22, 1969.  The design uses the background from the artwork for the studio album, and the photograph was removed.  A photograph of a Les Paul guitar was added and was heavily filtered and edited to make it similar to the sketch design of the background.  Information about each concert was added using similar typography as the artwork from the studio album.

Led Zeppelin III Tour (1971)

The following is custom album artwork that I created for some concert bootleg recordings of Led Zeppelin.  This artwork is for the era and tour pertaining to the Led Zeppelin III album, which was released on October 5, 1970.  The design uses the volvelle from the original album artwork, which was layered with the same band logo, and similar black borders.  Information about each concert was added using similar typography as the artwork from the studio album.

Led Zeppelin IV Tour (1971)

The following is custom album artwork that I created for some concert bootleg recordings of Led Zeppelin.  This artwork is for the era and tour pertaining to the Led Zeppelin IV album, which was released on November 8, 1971.  The background image is "The Hermit," which appeared inside the album artwork.  The band name and concert information were added with similar typography as the artwork for the studio album, and the four symbols were added.

Houses of the Holy Tour (1973)

The following is custom album artwork that I created for some concert bootleg recordings of Led Zeppelin.  This artwork is for the era and tour pertaining to the Houses of the Holy studio album, which was released on March 28, 1973.  The background image is one of the photographs from the photo shoot for the album artwork at the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland.  The band name and concert information were added with similar typography as the artwork for the studio album.

Physical Graffiti Tour (1975)

The following is custom album artwork that I created for some concert bootleg recordings of Led Zeppelin.  This artwork is for the era and tour pertaining to the Physical Graffiti studio album, which was released on February 24, 1975.  The design uses a present day photograph of the the same buildings that appear on the artwork for the studio album.  The image was heavily filtered to make it appear more like a sketch, and most of the colors were de-saturated to the primarily brown tones to echo the artwork for the studio album.  The band name and concert information were added with similar typography as the artwork for the studio album, and the band name was also added to the top of the buildings.

In Through the Out Door Tour (1980)

The following is custom album artwork that I created for some concert bootleg recordings of Led Zeppelin.  This artwork is for the era and tour pertaining to the In Through the Out Door album, which was released on August 15, 1979.  The simplistic design uses an alternative photograph from the artwork for the studio album.
